YOU ARE HERE: HOME > PROJECTS > REVOLUTIONISING THE USE OF EVIDENCE TO IMPROVE ASSET MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE PERFORMANCE

Project description

We are seeking a limited number of organisations to lead the way and be part of a collaborative project designed to push forward thinking and develop model practice in the use of data, evidence and KPIs in repairs and asset management.

As a sector we need to demonstrate the systematic collection and use of evidence to deliver value for money and continuous improvement. A huge amount of data is collected in repairs and maintenance and asset management but too little is used to inform key operational and strategic decisions and to drive improvement programmes.

This project will pilot the development of some new, sector leading practice designed to help:

  • maximise the use of resources to drive better value for money in repairs and asset management
  • secure and demonstrate cost savings
  • deliver improved service outcomes for residents, housing organisations and the property asset

The project will be underpinned by five collaborative interactive workshops designed to push forward the debate and support the development of your own new ‘fit for purpose’ asset KPIs alongside a new national scorecard.
